Agri-Connect acted as the project manager and grant applicant on behalf of a consortium based on land owners and businesses around a market town.
The work involved a feasibility study and the development of an Action Plan to take forward the recommendations for the development of a 5 year project focused on developing the local food offering from surrounding farms through retail and food service outlets based in and around the town.
The role undertaken by Agri-Connect removed a barrier to obtaining funding and ensured that the project was delivered to the standard required by the project sponsors and the funding partner.
